4. Which one of Manchester United’s youngsters step up?

In a season full of injuries, Manchester United have been forced to use a lot of their younger players. Louis Van Gaal has used a lot the youngsters in games due to injures to likes of Wayne Rooney. But youth stepped up against FC Midtjylland.

Marcus Rashford was the hero for the Red Devils as he scored a brace to help turn the tie around for United. Due to an injury to starting striker Anthony Martial, the youngster who was making his debut for the Red Devils stepped up. His first goal was due to Juan Mata’s cutback and he finished in front of an open net. His second goal was even better as he found himself free at the back post off a solid cross and it gave United the lead in the tie.

Now we have to see which one of the youngsters step up against Arsenal. LVG usually plays the likes of Jesse Lingard and Martial but if the latter can’t play, expect Lingard to step up. He has turned out to be a quality player for United and a solid offensive option. We don’t know if Rashford will get the start again but after that game in the Europa League, you sort of feel that he deserves it. But Arsenal is a much tougher test than the Danish team he saw on Thursday.
