3. Can Arsenal’s attack bounce back?

It has been a rough couple of games for Arsenal’s attack. First it was a disappointing draw against Hull in the FA Cup. For a team as talented as the Gunners are on the offensive end, they surely should have scored against the Championship side.

More from Arsenal FC

It was even tougher for Gunner fans to see their teams offensive performance against Barcelona. The Gunners made the Catalans make some desperate defending clearances in their Round of 16 first leg. But they couldn’t seem to find the back of the net. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had a wide open chance in the first half but shot it straight at the keeper. Oliver Giroud had his header in the second half dug out of nowhere as the ball seemed destined for the near post but it was dug out beautifully to save a goal for the Catalans. Aaron Ramsey then had a chance inside the five yard box but was again denied by Marc-André ter Stegen. The Gunners left the pitch feeling like they should have at least scored two against Barcelona.

But they have to clear those two performances and take a fresh approach against United. Arsenal are the better offensive team and they can surely break down United’s shaky defense. With the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez at the front of the attack, they have to score.
