1. Can Alexis be the difference in this game

It was a disappointing game from Alexis Sanchez against his former club. Matched up on the left side, Sanchez had a chance to get forward and create some chances on the right side. With Barca right back Dani Alves always up in attack, the right-wing was there for Sanchez to attack on the counter. But he failed to make a significant impact for the Gunners.

More from Playing for 90

He didn’t have many shots on goal (2 shots total) and was quiet for most of the game. It felt like you didn’t know he was on the pitch for most of the game.

The pressure will be on Sanchez to perform in this game.

He was a big part of Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Manchester United back in October as he scored one of the best goals of the season in that game. That is the type of Alexis Sanchez many of us were used to seeing but he didn’t show up against Barcelona when he was needed the most.

Look for him to create some pressure in this game as Arsenal will have more of the ball in this game and more of the chances surely. But he has to help Arsenal take advantage of the chances given to them in this game. Otherwise it could be a repeat of the Barcelona game on Tuesday.
