After losses midweek, can Arsenal and Tottenham snatch a vital win in the North London Derby?

It was a rough midweek for both teams from London as both Arsenal and Tottenham lost on Wednesday. Both teams are fighting for the Premier League title and by dropping points midweek, the pressure to secure all three points on the weekend is at its peak.

It was an incredibly disappointing game from Arsenal as they lost 2-1 to Swansea City. After taking the lead thanks to Joel Campbell, the Gunners gave up two goals to a struggling Swansea City team. Captain Ashley Williams scored the winner for Swansea on a set piece which Petr Cech seemed to misjudge. After their performance against Manchester United, this was not the performance Arsenal wanted to put on.

With Leicester City drawing the day before, Tottenham had a chance to go top of the league with a win over West Ham. It would be Spurs last game at Boleyn Ground and it was one they should choose to forget. It was a seventh minute header by Michail Antonio off a corner that turned out to be the winner for West Ham.

The header came from a tough angle but Hugo Lloris was caught off guard by the ball and tried to bat it out of goal. But he ended up hitting the side of the goal and it was 1-0 West Ham. In the end it was a 1-0 loss for Spurs as they dropped a chance to go top of the table.
