5 reasons Arsenal must fire Arsene Wenger

Arsenal need to move on from Arsene Wenger and the reasons are clear

Arsene Wenger is currently the longest serving manager in all four divisions of professional football in England. He has lifted several trophies including the Premier League three times, the FA Cup six times, and the Community Shield six times as well, but it is time for him to move on.

Wenger came to England as Arsenal manager in 1996 and he revolutionized the English game. He introduced groundbreaking concepts that seem so mundane now such as monitoring a player’s diet, limiting their drinking, and holding more hands-on training sessions.

He started off his career with Arsenal winning every domestic trophy in sight, gobbling up seven major trophies in his first eight years with the club. Unfortunately the rest of the game has caught up to him and the Gunners went eight years between major trophies, finally lifting the FA Cup in 2013.

It was an unacceptable drought for one of the biggest clubs in the world and it was a sign that something was broken at the club. For years the excuse of money was held up but now it is only one thing holding Arsenal back, Arsene Wenger himself.

The Gunners need to move on from the Frenchman and here are the reasons why:
