Louis van Gaal says a lot of young players are coming to Manchester United this summer. Who could he be talking about?

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has been quick to tout his willingness to give young players a chance to anyone who will listen as of late. He’s even gone on record as saying that his youth policy will bring players to Manchester United next season. The question then becomes, who could LVG be referring to?

Van Gaal was quoted on United’s official website with saying that “a lot of players” are coming to Old Trafford in the summer because they see an opportunity to play big minutes as youngsters. While the Dutch manager has a lot of flaws, he is not a liar. It’s reasonable to take him at his word and believe that the club has already agreed to bring in some bright young talent.

That news has every right to excite the United fan base. The club prides itself on bringing young stars through to prominence and it seems like van Gaal has gotten on board with that message. United has needs all over the pitch which means we can cast a wide net as to what players van Gaal might be talking about.
