2. Marquinhos

The PSG defender all but declared his undying love and affection for the Premier League in advance of his team’s Champions League clash with Chelsea. It is quite obvious that he’d like to play in England, and I suspect Manchester United would be one of several clubs he’d like to hear from this summer.

United certainly could stand to add some talent at centre-back and the young Brazilian is considered to be one of the brightest prospects in football at his position. His play with PSG hasn’t been great this season, but a change in scenery should be enough to get his career back on track.

The competition for Marquinhos if he’s made available figures to be immense. The Mirror reported earlier this year that United was prepared to outbid the likes of Barcelona for the young defender. That tells you just how highly the United brass rates the Brazilian starlet. They would need to open their wallets in the summer to get a deal across the finish line.

Adding a young talent like Marquinhos would help solidify the centre-back position for United for years to come. The only question is whether or not they can afford to pay the premium required to bring Marquinhos to Old Trafford.
