5 reasons Harry Kane is better than Jamie Vardy
By Jake Cole
4. Consistency
Many people will disagree with me on this, but Kane has been far more consistent over the last two seasons than Vardy has and scored a lot more goals.
Kane has now equalled Vardy in the goal scoring charts this season after his brace against Aston Villa yesterday. Over two seasons he has been a regular among the top scorers of the Premier League, whereas Vardy has only burst onto the scene this season and had a good run of scoring form before Christmas, but he hasn’t been able to recapture that scoring form since then with his goals becoming scattered.
Since they both have made their international debuts in 2015, Kane has hit the ground running and scored his first international goals, whereas Vardy is yet to score and put in an outstanding performance. Kane is now on the verge of scoring 20 league goals for the second season running and has always been there when Tottenham have needed him most in this extraordinary season. Many have suggested Vardy’s success has been down to Riyad Mahrez, his lack of goals since Christmas hasn’t gone unnoticed. Does this mean maybe Vardy is the one season wonder that everyone thought Harry Kane was?
