3. Big Game Goals

Kane has always come up the goals in the big games, not even mentioning his fantastic record in London derbies. I’m not doubting that Vardy hasn’t scored some big goals this season, but the second Kane was introduced into London derbies, the games that mean the most to Tottenham, he took it into his stride and has an excellent record of 14 goals in 18 games.

A lot of ‘big’ players these days go missing in big games especially the likes of Eden Hazard, but Kane has shown from the very first time he stepped onto the pitch for Tottenham that he is able to come up with the goals in the big games.

More from Leicester City

In the past two seasons, Kane has always been there when Tottenham needed him the most to score vital goals in big games, most notably the Chelsea and Arsenal victories. Whereas Vardy has yet to show a stand out performance in a big game. It could show that Vardy isn’t able to do it in the big games and can only do it against the lower teams in the Premier League.

Yes he scored a great goal against Liverpool but he doesn’t perform against the big teams like that on a regular basis.
