2. Style of Play

The next reason that Kane is better than Vardy is due to the adaptive style of play Kane has. Over the last two seasons he has shown that he has far more than just goals and he can create goals as well.

Vardy seems very one-dimensional with his pace and finishing, he obviously can create goals but it’s not in his natural style of play to create goals and when he isn’t scoring he doesn’t really offer much more than his pace. Whereas Kane has got a lot more to his game and has added a lot more to his game over the last two years. He has shown the ability to score with his head and feet, he can hold the ball up and make something out of nothing, something Tottenham were in desperate need of.

Kane has a much wider range of attributes to his game compared to Vardy, as he uses mainly his pace to good affect to beat defenders and score goals, which he has done a lot this season. However, Kane’s style of play just shows that he can affect the game in many more ways than Vardy can, which could prove to be very beneficial to England in the summer and might also help Vardy in the squad playing with him.
