2. Kingsley Coman is the real deal

Thiago’s goal was good but everyone still knew that a Juventus goal changed the whole complexion of the tie. A goal for Juve would make it 4-4 on the night and Bayern would have to score once again because Juventus now had the lead via away goals. Then Kingsley Coman struck and put all the worry for Bayern fans to rest.

The French youngster, who is on a two-year loan deal from Juventus, scored the killer goal to seal the tie for Bayern Munich. He took the ball on the right hand side of the box, sized up Leonardo Bonucci who is a pretty solid defender. He then took his left foot and curled one past Gigi Buffon for the fourth goal for Bayern on the night and it was the dagger in Juventus’ heart. It was worse coming from one of their own.

Coman came on just before the end of the 90 minutes and he was instrumental in getting the equalizer. Every time Bayern got the ball back, they would give to Coman who would just throw in crosses into the box. Eventually Thomas Muller found his head to one of them and Bayern had their equalizer.

On a night where many didn’t expect Coman to have an impact, the youngster stepped up and delivered for the Bavarians when they needed a spark the most.
