1. Barcelona are still favorites in the Champions League and for a treble

It was a case of another game and another win for Barcelona. The Catalans currently hold a record winning streak and look like nobody is going to beat them. With this 3-1 win over Arsenal, they have booked their place in the quarterfinal after beating another English team in the Round of 16.

This tie turned out to be a much easier road than Manchester City last year and Barcelona will hope that their Champions League campaign this year will end like how it last year.

With all eight teams confirmed in the quarterfinals, Barcelona will have to wait for the draw to find out their opponents. They could get anyone from Benfica to Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals as they wait the naming of their opponents. But it doesn’t matter who they get as they will be favorites no matter who they draw.

They are also in contention for a treble this year as they sit eight points atop of La Liga, are in the Spanish Super Cup final, and are in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. After winning the treble last year, Barcelona are looking even better than that team won the treble as they look to repeat their success.
