2. Arkadiusz Milik

Likelihood: 6/10

Arkadiusz Milik could be a young Lewandowski, with the potential to blossom into one of the world’s best strikers. However, at 22, he might not be ready yet to be a regular starter in the Premier League. If Arsenal signed Milik, he would be a rotation option for next season, with a view towards making him the key man in the following seasons.

This would allow Arsenal to continue playing Danny Welbeck through the middle, while he would likely be pushed out wide if the other strikers mentioned in this article were signed.

Ajax have developed many young striking talents that became stars at other clubs. Luis Suarez was sold at 23 to Liverpool and turned into an unstoppable force, almost willing Liverpool to the title by himself. Milik might not be the second coming of Suarez, and their styles are certainly different, but he would be an excellent signing for Arsene Wenger.

He will have to be quick to sign the Ajax wonderkid before other clubs start an Anthony Martial-esque bidding war. If Arsenal do not sign Milik before the Euros, his value will surely skyrocket if he performs well with Poland, and then he may be out of Arsenal’s reach.
