Southampton – 8 Players

Ryan Bertrand (England)
Fraser Forster (England)
Jose Fonte (Portugal)
Cedric Soares (Portugal)
Shane Long (Republic of Ireland)
Steven Davis (Northern Ireland)
Graziano Pelle (Italy)
Florin Gardos (Romania)

Southampton is yet another club with a burgeoning reputation in England as they continually produce and procure some wonderful talents.  Keeper Fraser Forster will be battling with Jack Butland to be Englands number two keeper and has also made his own claim for that number one shirt.

Ryan Bertrand is on the outside looking in but his recent club form make him an intriguing option for Roy Hodgson at leftback. The former Chelsea man has blossomed at Southampton and was named to the PFA Team of the Year last season at that position.

Graziano Pelle, Shane Long, Jose Fonte, Steven Davis, and Cedric Soares are all set to go for their respective national teams though Pelle’s starting place may be in jeopardy with Italy. Romania’s Florin Gardos has been battling injuries for over a year but has made a return to the training ground this week. If healthy he should be included as well.
