1. Yaya Toure

Yaya Toure has been with Manchester City since 2010 and has arguably been one of their best players since he arrived at the club after coming over from Barcelona. But has fallen on hard times recently. A blowup with the club over not recognizing his birthday and very poor form has put Toure as a prime candidate to leave Manchester City this summer.

Like Zabaleta, he is getting older (Toure’s 32) and some questionable play is leading many to think that Toure is on the decline. Guardiola could think the same and probably will. Although the two were together at Barcelona, having Toure in the starting XI won’t help Man City. If he does stay at Man City, his role would be reduced heavily.

Toure is a player that wants a starting role in the club and if Guardiola doesn’t give him that, there will be problems. With Man City linked to midfielders such as Paul Pogba and Ilkay Gundogan, it is clear that they are looking for upgrades in the midfield.

Toure could be on his way to the MLS per reports so he may be taking his talents to America soon. Could he rejoin his former teammates David Villa and Frank Lampard? Only time will tell.
