3. Suarez vs. Ramos

In his first three El Clasicos, Luis Suarez has had an impact in all three of them. He had an assist in his first one, the game winning goal in the next, and two goals in the most recent one. He will looking to have another big game against Real Madrid against the duo of Pepe and Sergio Ramos. Although both Ramos and Pepe are getting older, they are still quality defenders and will give Suarez a challenge as they seem like an equal match. Both on the pitch and mentally as all three are known for getting under opponents skins. Look for Suarez to match up more against Ramos as both are physical while being extremely athletic.

Suarez knows the challenge ahead as he called Ramos “toughest opponent I have come up against,” in an interview with Mundo Deportivo back before the first Clasico in October. He still probably feels the same way despite scoring off Ramos twice in Barcelona’s 4-0 win.

He was able to catch Ramos off guard on both of his goals as he got behind the Spanish defender for both goals. If Suarez is able to do that again, look for him to score in a Clasico again. He scored the game winner twice in this rivalry, why not do it again?
