Only a few weeks ago it seemed that Barcelona had the La Liga title all wrapped up and no one could catch them, however, they are being caught and if they don’t do something about it they could lose the title.

The last two games for Barcelona have been very odd and it has seen them under perform massively. The first of these two games was the huge El Clásico, they did not want to lose that one, but thanks to Ronaldo and co. they manage to slip to a defeat and let Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid worm their way back in a title race that seemed all but over a few weeks back.

Barcelona are now three games without a win and the last two league games have provided no points. The warning signs are starting to show, as both the sides from Madrid are edging closer and closer the them. Is it time they woke up and realised the title is not won just yet?

With the best team in the world, Barcelona looked well on course to win back to back trebles, Barcelona seem to have hit a horrible stumbling block at the business end of the season and have started to give their rivals a sniff of the title.

The big game against Real Madrid really made people wonder whether Barcelona were caving in on the title and letting it slowly slip away from their grasp. The treble winners from last season are now in for a real fight to keep hold of their title crown again this season, after it looked all clear for them to win the title easily just a few weeks back.

Things went from bad to worse for Barcelona last night, as they went crashing out of the Champions League to rivals Atlético Madrid. It seemed that it wasn’t too long ago that we was talking about this current Barcelona team being one of the best teams ever with some of the best players ever. Also, they looked well set to complete the treble for the second year running, but at the vital stage of the season it has all gone wrong for Barcelona and the Champions League is no longer a possibility, therefore ruling out the chance for a second treble in two years.

Lionel Messi, arguably the greatest player of all time, is currently on his longest run without scoring a goal and without him firing it seems to have had a negative knock-on effect for the whole team. They now have four disappointing results behind them and the chance of back to back Champions League trophies is no longer a possibility. All three of the attackers have worked tirelessly all season and they seem to have finally hit a brick wall.

If Barcelona want to save their season they need to do it soon, as both Atlético and Real Madrid are hitting form at the perfect time and either of them could just nick the title away from Barcelona in the final weeks of this season.

Barcelona have now found it so easy to out score teams and win games easily, meaning they have become complacent and teams are now attacking them and they aren’t ready for it. Similar to PSG, if you are finding games too easy you drop down a few levels and end up losing games and making other teams look a lot better than they actually are, this is probably why PSG always seem to struggle in the Champions League as they never have any tough games in the Ligue 1.

It needs to be a quick fix for Barcelona and if they can hit form again from now until the end of the season I am sure the quality of Messi, Suarez and Neymar will out shine every other team in La Liga.
