Step 2: End Falcao/Pato loan policy

I’m not sure when or why Chelsea became a safe space for over the hill strikers, but it needs to end. Seriously, between trying to save the careers of Samuel Eto, Radamel Falcao, and Alexandre Pato, the Blues have wasted money and time on dead-end players.

The West Londoners are a side that cannot live in the past and by bringing in these type of players, they are doing just that. Past reputation doesn’t lead to output. Let some other club be their second chance haven.

  • They are taking wages and roster spots from players that far more deserve the chance. Like Chelsea’s youth talent. Or actual talented strikers. Players that are on the cusp of making it.

Stop giving these minutes to a man who already failed in his second chance at Manchester United or a player that had to exit European football just to regain his bearings.

If another club gives them a shot and they are successful, send a congratulatory note. Do not waste time on these players when one has access to one of Europe’s finest youth academy and scouting network. With these spots opened up, it allows for the Blues to bring in players that fit the system and more importantly have earned a chance.

Stop making Stamford Bridge a home for wounded strikers that need attention.
