Real Madrid vs Manchester City : Five things to look for
By Vijay Vemu
2. Battle of the strikers
In this game, we were slated to see Sergio Aguero against Karim Benzema in the battle of the strikers. But Benzema limped off in Real Madrid’s latest game against Rayo Vallecano and is doubtful for the clash. Ronaldo is a likely option to be up top for Madrid in replace of Benzema.

But now that means that Manchester City have the advantage at the strikers position and all eyes will be on Aguero. The Argentine has been spectacular for City this season as he has scored 28 goals for the Citizens including a hat trick against Manchester City. He has scored in his last three games and will look to hit the back of the net against a Real Madrid team that is prone to giving up some bad goals. With a striker like Aguero, Madrid can’t make any mistakes.
He likely won’t attack in the air due to his height and the fact that Ramos and Pepe are pretty good when it comes to defending in the air. But Aguero can possibly catch them off guard with his speed and his underrated strength to fight off defenders.
Expect Aguero to get his fair share of chances in this game and if Manchester City want to advance to the final of the Champions League, he must convert.
