4. Sergio Aguero back in the Bernabeau

The last time Sergio Aguero was in the Santiago Bernabeau, he was watching on the bench as Manchester City lost 3-2 to Real Madrid two years ago. Now the striker is healthy and is ready to do damage. Aguero has been his usual self this season as he has scored 34 goals in all competitions for both his club and for his country Argentina. He has two goals in the UCL and will be looking to increase that total.

Aguero will be matched up against the duo of Sergio Ramos and Pepe and the duo did a solid job against him in the first leg. He matches up well against Ramos and Pepe as all three are powerful players and use strength to overpower their opponents. Likely the only striker up top, Aguero might have to take both of them on at the same time or look to make a solid run that splits the duo.

Manchester City obviously need to score to advance in the tie and their offense and best chances will likely go through Aguero. He used to play well against Los Blancos when he was at Atletico Madrid before he went to Manchester. He’s leaving the Etihad in the coming years so why not leave with a UCL trophy?
