N’Golo Kante should attract everyone, not just PSG

N’Golo Kante should attract the attention of all the world’s top teams, not just Paris Saint-Germain
Congratulations to Leicester City. Everybody knows by now the story behind this clubs miraculous rise to Premier League glory, and almost everybody has taken the time to chime in on the matter. Most agree that this is a phenomenal occurrence, which shows the brilliance of teamwork over money spent, and those critical of these events are few and far between.
So how did Leicester City manage to win the Premier League? Well, teamwork. The side stuck together like glue, and never seemed to feel the pressure mounted by teams regarded far better than them. Teamwork however, can only get you so far.
Without Leicester City’s raising stars, such as Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante, the side may have been unable to reach such heights. The Leicester fairy-tale is recognised because it was the effort from everybody that earned them glory, but there’s no denying the role that trio played.

For me, the most interesting of the Leicester players is N’Golo Kante. This hidden gem avoided the attention of any big clubs, and arrived at Leicester City for just £6.75million. What’s even more interesting is that in 2013, he actually made a free transfer to Ligue 1 side, SM Caen.
In his first season at Leicester City, N’Golo Kante rose as an influential figure, dominating the midfield and earning himself international recognition. His tireless movement, brave tackling and outstanding sense of counter-attacking play have allowed him to act as the real heart of a passionate Leicester team.
Kante not only helped Leicester win the Premier League title, but he also managed to earn two international caps as of now, and looks likely to be selected for the Euro’s. In his second appearance for France (his first start) Kante managed to bag his first international goal.
The biggest question now is can Leicester City keep N’Golo Kante? Well, I would be surprised if they did. I’d love the Leicester players to turn around and say “you know what, lets see if we can win the Champions League here next season lads? Why go anywhere else now eh?” but it just isn’t going to happen – at least not with the likes of PSG hanging around anyway.
Reports found on the Guardian website link N’Golo Kante with a move to Paris, as PSG look to spend £250m in order to progress to a Champions League final. The truth for me is, Kante should be attracting every clubs attention, not just PSG’s. The guy has grown into such an influential midfielder, already winning the Premier League, and it’s obvious he could boost any squad.

He’s been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and could probably walk into any of his rival teams, and I think only Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich could raise arguments against signing the player. I hope he chooses to remain at Leicester, but I think his evident talent should allow him his fair share of selection if he does opt for a move away.
