Club America scored 34 goals in Clausura 2016, coming second to Monterrey. It will be that high-octane attack that will need to fuel America’s run this playoff round as the pressure, while having lightened up a bit, will on full display in the first round.

There’s no doubt that it will be on the shoulders of Oribe Peralta to handle Chivas’ defense, albeit a difficult task as Chivas has only given up 16 goals all season. Peralta though knows how to put the ball in the back of the net scoring 9 times.

His attacking has been predominately coming from the left side, which will be key as Darwin Quintero has been potent from the other side. Peralta not only has been a fixture for the Mexican National Team, he’s also the face and most recognizable name for America to date. No pressure, right?
