Midfielders on the forty man roster: Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Alejandro Bedoya (FC Nantes), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Moenchengladbach), Jermaine Jones (Colorado Rapids), Perry Kitchen (Heart of Midlothian), Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt), Darlington Nagbe (Portland Timbers), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution), Danny Williams (Reading FC), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)

Final selections: Beckerman, Bedoya, Bradley, Johnson, Jones, Nagbe, and Nguyen

Outlook : There seems to have been a bit of separation in recent weeks among those that are on the bubble. Both Beckerman and Jones have strong starts to their 2016 campaigns while Kitchen, Morales, and Williams have had fair but not impressive seasons. Diskerud thankfully has taken himself out of consideration by being a ghost for New York City FC.

It will be interesting to see where Klinsmann slots Nagbe. In this system he would seem to fit best on the outside given that both Bradley and Nguyen will likely control possession. But will he be given enough touches on the outside to make a difference?
