#1- Jordan Morris

Yes, Morris is early in his first professional season. But, the USMNT forward has limitless potential. He has made appearances with the US Men’s first team since 2014, when he was still a college student at Stanford.

More from Playing for 90

He was the first player to be an active NCAA soccer player and USMNT first teamer since 1999. Confirming his top pedigree, the 21-year-old trialed with SV Werder Bremen this winter and played in a friendly with the Bundesliga side, recording an assist. It was reported the German club offered him a contract, which he declined to play in the US for his hometown Sounders.

Already with four goals in his first 11 MLS matches, it will be important for JorMo to continue proving he can finish at a high level and improve his holdup play.

Also, the more caps he’s able to secure in international play, the better, as that will pit his talents against a whole different level of competition, including this year’s Copa America Centenario.
