Joe Hart

Joe Hart has been the starting England goalkeeper for some time now, and he’s easily the best we’ve got. He has 57 international caps for the first team, and even made appearances for the U21’s and U19’s back in the day.

He’s had a decent season with Manchester City, securing Champions League football without the help of their captain, Vincent Kompany. He’s made 47 appearances this season, earning 18 clean sheets and conceding 48 goals.

I also like his character and his passion, which can sometimes be seen as a big negative for Hart. His loud, blunt nature when on the field and his displays of frustration allow me to respect him more, given the way he shows his desire to do well for the national team. It would be unexpected if Hart doesn’t start all of the Euro matches.
