3. Vitolo vs. Dani Alves

Out of all the Sevilla players in the UEL final, Vitolo had one of the better games. Although he didn’t score, the winger made life uncomfortable for the Liverpool defense. Especially Nathaniel Clyne who, along with fellow wingback Alberto Moreno, had a rough time containing him. He swung in crosses and helped create the two goals that gave Sevilla the lead and extend it.

He will be matched up against Dani Alves, who had an outstanding end to the season. Alves was thought to be too old for the right back position and was pegged to be replaced by former Sevilla right back Aleix Vidal. The pressure was on Alves and he delivered with another brilliant season. Known more as a winger than a defender, Alves once again showed his maturity in deciding whether to push up the pitch or stay back on defense. This will be tested against Vitolo as one mistake could help spring a Sevilla attack that could catch FC Barcelona off guard.

This will be a fun matchup and surely one that could decide the outcome of the game. It will come down to whether Vitolo can break down Alves one on one and if he can catch Alves pushing off the pitch. If he can capitalize one of those two things, Sevilla could steal this game from FC Barcelona.
