It’s that time again! Here are this week’s best tweets from Premier League players, past, present, and future

Two legends of the game got together last weekend when Sir Alex Ferguson and Ian Wright worked together to cover the FA Cup final. In an unguarded moment, we were treated (h/t @Football_Tweet) to an exchange that makes us imagine how different the 90s could have been had someone’s price tag been a little lower.

And before moving onto the active duty Premier League players, I simply have to draw your attention to this! Hail Yobo!

Onto someone who may be looking to become King of the Streets. It’s Andy Carroll, who we could essentially do an entire Tweet of the Week column on. He’s still Stateside and whereas last week he was running from weather, this week he is lending out a helping hand, and pringles.

From one person who lives the definition of struggle, onto Leicester City’s Danny Simpson who has struggles of a different kind.

Maybe during the summer holidays Simpson will get himself out there.

Some people are happy to spend the summer with family and friends though. Look at Man City’s Nicolas Otamendi. Sidenote, if the Otamendi family ever ask you over for a BBQ, go.

"Volvió la banda de las piedras ⚽️ asado en familia con la banda"

Summer is also great for concerts. This week former-Stoke City goalie Thomas Sorenson got to see The Boss up close.

Palace’s Glenn Murray decided to take a trip of a lifetime this summer, which may have been much more than he bargained for.

"All Disneyed out, stop now please ✋"

Though, we all know what most footballers are doing during the summer. Ruining nice walks with games of golf. Although, if you’re as good as Aaron Ramsey, the game might be a bit more enjoyable.

Yeah, he’s pretty good, but give Troy Deeney’s son twenty-years and I think he’ll be right up there with him.

This week another Premier Leaguer’s son pulled off some sporting brilliance. Southampton legend Kelvin Davies had his testimonial this week, which featured his 11-year-old son playing with the big boys. As if a Hollywood screenwriter was dictating the play, the young lad was taken down in the box, leading to a penalty that pitted father vs. son. Check out the screamer the younger Davies unleashed past his pop.

Also, I got to throw in another young lad who is simply winning at life.

You know, a lot of players are actually working this summer. Some are on international duty and others are putting in hard graft to overcome injuries and get back to match fitness.

Last September one of Bournemouth’s brightest stars, Tyrone Mings went down with an ACL injury. Judging by this though, he’ll be good to go this coming season.

And now, in this week’s #ThrowbackThursday, we learned that the Alderweireld family share the same barber.

While we’re on the subject of hashtags…

DeAndre Yedlin’s ‘squidward’ joke continues to elude me. You know who’s got jokes, though? Newcastle United’s Rob Elliott, that’s who.

As we wrap things up, it’s time to check in on the passengers of this week’s Sad Bus Home:

And from a couple of disappointed Owls, we shift to some very happy Tigers on the Victory Lap:

"Amazing feeling! Buzzing isn't the word"

And as always, we finish with this week’s Pay it Forward (if you can):
