The first round is over, on we go to the next round, where it’s win or go home.

Copa America Centenario started off rather slow and lacking any punch or excitement we were promised.

That was soon over when Mexico beat Uruguay 3-1, we only saw four goals in four matches prior to this clash. Since that moment 61 goals have been scored giving the fans exactly what they wanted all along.

We saw tense matches and incredible performances, namely the one and only Messi’s three goals in less than 25 minutes coming off the bench.

Now we look ahead to what should be an exciting four matches with the winners moving on to the semifinals.

  • United States vs Ecuador
  • Argentina vs Venezuela
  • Peru vs Colombia
  • Mexico vs Chile

Four fantastic matchups, with a few surprises in the mix. We’ll now delve into a few storylines you should watch for in the coming matches as Copa America Centenario rolls on.
