Alvaro Morata

Morata had a good season with Juventus, scoring seven goals and assisting seven as well. He was mainly used as a substitute, but still had an impact in each match that could not be captured in the stat line. His pace and movement was lethal for Juventus, freeing up space for players like Mandzukic and Dybala to score goals at will. He has already showed us what he can do at the Euros, and the young Spaniard is just getting started in the world of goal scoring. At just the age of 23, he has plenty of time to mature as a goal scorer and become much more clinical over time.

With Arsenal, he would fit in well with the quick passing, movement and overall pace of the squad. Linking up with fellow Spaniard Santi Cazorla could spell disaster for the opposition. Morata’s ability to link up with players like Sanchez and Ozil would be a dangerous combination, and would surely create many chances for the Arsenal players to take advantage of. The buyback clause that Real Madrid has on Morata does not make this move likely, but it would suit Arsenal very well if he did end up moving to the London club.
