Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

A rapid and agile goal-scoring machine, the Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lit up the Bundesliga last season with 25 goals for his club Borussia Dortmund. He was a menace to every defense he came up against, with his blistering pace being a huge problem for all. His counter-attacking abilities were his true strength, and it was evident that he could start and end a break all by himself. His lethal finishing combined with his attacking awareness and quick dribbling moves helped him be one of the most feared strikers in all of Europe.

Arsenal became a very counter-attacking oriented team in parts of last season. The most evident case of this was against Bayern Munich, when they beat the German champions 2-0. Adding Aubameyang to their attacking options would take their counter-attack to another level.

With pace on either side of their strikers, the speed that Arsenal could play at would be near impossible to deal with. Aubameyang would give them a sure-fire finisher at the end of their counters, which would suit their tactical build-up play as well when they are struggling to convert on their created chances.
