Eleven things to look out for ahead of the Euro 2016 round of 16

Enough with the break. Let’s get back to the football.

While it was certainly nice to have a day or two off it is time to get back to the 2016 European Championship. Although the tournament has not had wall-to-wall exciting matches (England-Slovakia, anyone) this tournament has certainly exceeded expectations. With underdog stories such as Northern Ireland and Wales, and the slightly surprising play of Italy among many other stories Euro 2016 has delivered some exciting matches and moments.

So what does the Round of 16 have in store? Will there be more upsets? Or will the underdogs continue to have their day?
