With a new season on the horizon, change is in abundance for Chelsea with a new manager and some new players. What’s their first choice XI?

Change isn’t always bad, but constant change evolves into instability. Chelsea fans certainly know a lot about change since Roman Abramovich took charge of the London club.

The managerial office is a revolving door as is the locker room. New players seem to be in and out even more than the normal super club.

This upcoming season for Chelsea, change is abundant. But so is hope and opportunity.

New manager Antonio Conte was lauded on the international stage for how well he conjoined a pedestrian Italian side and was a few astray penalties away from defeating star-studded Germany. Conte was widely regarded as the reason why they even made it out of their group. No one would have been surprised to see an early Italian exit based on the parts that made up the team.

Conte brings new tactics to Chelsea and the Premier League. He’s made his fame by playing a 3-5-2 but he’s said that he’s not married to the formation. You’ve got to assume he’ll at least give it a run out, though. If so, how will the players operate? How will it land in the Premier League?

They’ve just signed N’Golo Kante from Leicester, it’ll be interesting to see where he fits into their strongest XI. Michy Batshuayi has already been confirmed to push and partner Diego Costa.

Eden Hazard is looking to put to bed a horrific 2015-16, ditto for Nemanja Matic. Willian will look to build on his campaign where he was the only bright spot in the Chelsea team for most of the term.

Where will they all fit in, how will they play?
