It is good to be a Gunner. Sometimes.

In a Premier League season where each contender has question marks and flaws there is perhaps no club with more unknowns that Arsenal. A side that once again finished in the top four in 2015-2015 but were unable to capitalize on the poor seasons of their rivals, Arsenal enters this season the same way they entered last season.

On paper there is a lot to like about the club. With the addition of Granit Xhaka and a fully fit Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Aaron Ramsey Arsenal appears to be at full strength for the first time in years. Considering that the club finished just ten points shy of Leicester City at the end of the season and that they made the knockout stage of the Champions League that is certainly nothing to be disappointed about.

But as it is with Arsenal where there is hope there is also cynicism. While some clubs would take those results as being a success after a certain number of years words such as plateaued and peaked start to get used. While there is hope within the supporters at the Emirates there is also a bit of fear as well.

So what are some of (not al) the hopes and fears of Arsenal supporters? Let’s take a look!
