The big fear: That one transfer window is not enough to change the culture of this team.

Manchester United made a lot of big moves this offseason. But it still might not be enough to get this team back to a Premier League title.

More from Manchester United

The problem with Manchester United in recent years is that it has never really stuck to a rebuilding plan. After Sir Alex Ferguson left United the club has been rudderless, bringing in managers and new players but never sticking to one specific philosophy. While both David Moyes and Louis van Gaal have left their overpriced players have stayed. It is difficult to find suitors even in this age of bloated player contracts to find teams who will pay even close to what United paid for the likes of Marouane Fellaini, Daley Blind, and Memphis Depay.

Could Manchester United win the Premier League title this season? Sure. The squad is clearly talented and their competition has just as many question marks. But given that this is now the third attempt at bringing back the glory days of United it is a bit difficult to see a quick turn-around.
