Pay special attention to these five matchups when Tottenham host Crystal Palace

Tottenham will open their home Premier League schedule by taking on Crystal Palace. It’s a match that Spurs desperately need to win if they want to get off to a good start in the league.

Palace, on the other hand, will be looking to grab anything they can from the match. Look for Alan Pardew to set the Eagles up very conservatively. The English boss won’t admit it, but he’d be happy to bring a point back to Selhurst Park.

Mauricio Pochettino on the other hand, will be hungry to take all three points. His squad should enjoy the lion’s share of possession in the match. The White Hart Lane faithful will go home very upset if their beloved Spurs don’t put in a convincing performance against Palace.
