5. Danny Rose vs. Andros Townsend

You can only imagine how much former Tottenham Academy star Andros Townsend wants to find the back of the net against his former club. The quick winger clearly loved his time with Spurs, but will want nothing more than to torment his former club with a goal or two this weekend.

I suspect Townsend will at least start the match on the Eagles’ right. If he does, it’s going to position him to tangle with former teammate Danny Rose all day long. That could develop into a very spirited contest.

As much as Townsend will want to score, Rose will simply abhor the idea. He’ll use every trick in his locker to keep his former teammate in his pocket for the full 90 minutes. Rose won’t be afraid to get a little nasty if it’s required either.

If either of these stars can dominate the other, it’s going to really give their club a big advantage. One thing’s for sure, one of them is going to spend an awful lot of time trying to chase the other in their own final third.
