Michy Batshuayi Goal – 41st minute (3-1)

Chelsea responded well to having their lead halved as the man the fans call “Batman” came to the rescue once again. Batshuayi completed his brace just a few minutes before halftime after a nice passage of play from Fabregas and danger-man Loftus-Cheek. Fabregas was given ages of time in the Bristol half before finding Loftus-Cheek with a clever through ball in the penalty area.

The young Chelsea midfielder (or is he a striker now?) turned his defender and found Batshuayi who did well to make the run and beat his man to the spot. It was a Demba Ba-esque finish as Batshuayi finished then landed on his behind and tensions were eased around the Bridge.
