Group F

Real Madrid
Borussia Dortmund
Sporting CP
Legia Warszaw

Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are obviously the class of this group and will have no trouble whatsoever advancing from this group. For all the additions that Dortmund made this summer they also lost some key players such as at Mats Hummels and will take some time to adjust to life without their world-class defender.

Madrid star Cristiano Ronald will relish the prospect of playing Sporting CP as he gets the chance to perform against his boyhood club. Articles will be published about how fitting it is that Ronaldo gets to face his boyhood club just months after bringing international glory to Portugal and he might even shed a tear or two after the match and his reception from the club’s supporters.

As for the actual football, this group is quite clear cut. Madrid to win the group, Dortmund second, Sporting CP third, and Legia Warszaw gets a participation trophy.
