Just how good are Tottenham’s five summer signings?

Tottenham’s summer transfer window ended with quite a flourish. Spurs inked three players on Deadline Day to add to their two early summer purchases. All and all, it looks to be a quality haul by Daniel Levy and company.

Some fans will quibble about the price for Sissoko, or the lack of early interest in players like Sadio Mane or Sofiane Boufal, but I prefer to focus on what the club actually got done. After all, those are the only players who will be able to help Tottenham until the winter window opens.

Many Tottenham fans on social media seemed to have entirely forgotten about Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama. They’ve played so much football for the club already that it seems they were purchased ages ago. However, they must be judged along with the trio of yesterday’s acquisitions.

So let’s take a look at just how good each deal was for Tottenham. Read on to discover grades for each of Daniel Levy’s five acquisitions.

Next: Victor Wanyama
