Premier League has the most international players in Europe

The Premier League is one of the most global leagues in the world with players coming from more than 60 different countries. Find out which nations are most represented on current team rosters

Now that the summer transfer window has closed each Premier League club has finalized and submitted its 25 man roster. A look at the countries where current players come from truly shows how global soccer is.

Of course England provides the most players to its own league. Amazingly though more than 60 other countries are represented.  Lesser known soccer nations such as Estonia, Curacao, Gabon, Gambia, Kenya, Armenia and Equatorial Guinea have just one player each in the top flight. On the other hand, many well-known international players are thriving in England.

Despite the fact that England’s national team continues to falter in international tournaments, English football is certainly appealing to players at the club level.

Here’s a look at the top 10 nations outside of England with players in the Premier League.
