Premier League has the most international players in Europe

Wales made its mark at this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament. In fact, they got one over on neighboring England by taking the top spot in Group B. Wales went as far as the semifinals and are currently ranked 11th by FIFA.

Prior to the success of the current national squad, Ryan Giggs was the most well-known footballer from Wales. The midfielder made 672 appearances for Manchester United throughout the Premier League era before retiring in 2014.
Gareth Bale has become the face of this current Wales squad. The Real Madrid star began his professional career in the Premier League with Southampton and Tottenham.
There are currently 12 players from Wales in the Premier League. These include midfielders Aaron Ramsey of Arsenal, Andy King of Leicester City, Joe Allen of Stoke and Joe Ledley of Crystal Palace.
Other notables are Wales captain Ashley Williams who now plays for Everton, defender James Collins of West Ham and Crystal Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey.
