3. Pedro

Did you know the former Barcelona star is actually Chelsea’s lowest rated outfield player on the season? When you carry wages like his and you aren’t performing in the slightest, it’s a brilliant recipe for a first-class ticket away from Stamford Bridge.

Unless Pedro is going to magically turn back the clock, or perhaps convert himself to a serviceable wingback, he has no use for Conte. The real question is whether or not any other reasonably big club has seen enough out of him during his time with the Blues to register any real interest.

I’m willing to bet that at least one other reasonably large club will take a flier on his past talent. That club will be disappointed with the player they actually receive, but it won’t be the first bad transfer in football history.

The only way Pedro realistically spends the entire season at Chelsea is if he firmly refuses to leave. He’s said previously that he’s only willing to play for a Champions League caliber club and that’s going to severely limit his options. Even with that potential problem, the smart money is still on him to call another club home before the end of the season.
