Top World Cup Winners All-Time: Number Eight – Brazil, 1994

The 1994 tournament, held in the good old U.S. or A. featured a Brazil team powered by Romario, who scored in all but one knockout stage matches. Brazil just has a knack for comprehensively winning World Cups. 1994 was yet another competition where they went undefeated, having to beat powerhouse sides like the Dutch and Sweden on their way to the final match against Italy.

It may have taken Brazil into penalties to dispense of the Italians, but don’t let that take away from how powerful this side was. They clashed with an Italy side that had to grind out their victories through the knockout stages.

This competition was littered with potentially dominant teams, from Germany to Italy to Sweden. Even the United States announced their presence on home ground by scraping through in third place before being done away with by the to-be champions.
