Watford – 18 managers

Watford toiled in the lower divisions throughout much of the club’s history.

They reached the Premier League for the first time ever in June 1999 under manager Graham Taylor. They finished the 1999-2000 season at the bottom of the table and were relegated.

They won promotion again under the management of Adrian Boothroyd for the 2006-2007 campaign. Once again they finished last and went back down.

Slavisa Jokanovic was named Watford’s manager in the fall of 2014. He was the team’s fourth head coach in a span of five weeks. Jokanovic led Watford back to the Premier League with a second place Championship finish in the 2014-2015 season.

Watford have remained in the top flight and are currently managed by Italian Walter Mazzarri.
