Hope #2: That Alvaro Morata can come back a better player.

It turns out you can go home again. After having a cup of tea with Juventus Alvaro Morata is back with Madrid having returned due to a buy-back clause in his contract. The Spanish international was really the only major signing for Madrid this offseason a direct result of their transfer ban. More on that later.

When Morata left Madrid the last time it was really a result of not having any space for him in their lineup. But under Zinedine Zidane it appears that Morata will factor more heavily into their plans this go-around. He has made seven starts and scored his first goal since coming back against Celta de Vigo.

Although Morata has shown that he can score when asked his most important qualities can be seen in setting up goals. Morata has an uncanny ability in moving between defenders and finding teammates through the trees. His vision in locating targets down five to ten yards down the field makes him one of the most dangerous holding forwards in La Liga and will undoubtedly help Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo up top.
