Tottenham transfer values: How much would it cost to buy each Spurs star?
Kevin Wimmer- £25 million
The Austrian defender may not be happy with his playing time this season, but he signed a new contract this summer that should keep him at White Hart Lane absent a large transfer bid. It would take at least £25 million to convince Spurs to part with Wimmer.
In truth, I agree with Wimmer’s frustrations. He played well enough last season to merit regular playing time moving forward. Granted, we don’t see training every day, but it’s hard to imagine that his form has dropped so sharply. Spurs fans should hope to see more of Wimmer before the January transfer window arrives.
Cameron Carter-Vickers- £30 million
Some might find it odd that Carter-Vickers is more valuable than Wimmer, but he is ahead of him in Pochettino’s pecking order at the moment. That, combined with his youth make him a very valuable commodity for the future.
The fact that Carter-Vicker is American won’t make him any cheaper. The club clearly value their connection with the US fan base. Having a USMNT member increases his commercial value pretty sharply.
