Kyle Walker – £50 million
The English international has been one of Tottenham’s top performers on the young season. I’ve written it many times but I’ll repeat it here, his progression under Pochettino’s tutelage has been nothing short of remarkable.
He also happens to be squarely in his prime at 26 years of age. Replacing him on the open transfer market would be quite a challenge. That’s why it would take a bid of at least £50 million to tempt Tottenham to seek out a new starter at such an important position.
Kieran Trippier – £20 million
Walker’s been so good this year that Trippier has barely gotten an opportunity to showcase his own abilities. Tottenham fans shouldn’t forget just how capable the former Burnley star is.
He isn’t Walker’s equal as an athlete, but he does possess more skill inside the final third. His ability to send pinpoint crosses into the box can be a huge advantage for his club. Another Premier League club would be wise to try to tempt Spurs into parting with Trippier.
