2. Nacer Chadli vs. Victor Wanyama

Some Tottenham fans wish Nacer Chadli should still be at Spurs, but I disagree. While he isn’t well-suited for Pochettino’s up-tempo style, he is a perfect fit for Pulis’ pace of play.

He represents West Brom’s best chance to nick a goal against Spurs. While he isn’t fleet of foot, he is capable of real moments of brilliance. Tottenham can’t afford to give him any space on the ball or he might punish his former club.

Victor Wanyama will be given the task to stay close to Chadli and suffocate him. The physical Kenyan just needs to make sure his mental attention stays switched on for the entire match. One moment’s lapse could cost his club a devastating goal.

Chadli will be highly motivated to torment his old club. Ironically, it will be one of the club’s newest signings tasked with keeping him quiet. The battle between Wanyama and Chadli will go a long way towards determining a winner.
