Count on Liverpool to thrill the Anfield faithful

Manchester United head to Anfield on Monday to try to halt the momentum of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side. It’s a historic rivalry filled with tons of tradition. All that will go out the window once the match begins though. Then it’ll be up to the players from each side to add another chapter to the historic rivalry.

Both sides enter the fray with plenty at stake. Liverpool can ascend to the top of the Premier League table with a victory and Jose Mourinho’s side could certainly use three points to further their cause. It should make for quite an entertaining match.

The smart money is on Liverpool to emerge victorious though. They’re playing in front of their home faithful in what should be a cracking match day atmosphere. More than that, Klopp has the club flying high in terms of their recent form.

It doesn’t mean that Jose Mourinho’s United side don’t have a chance though. The Special One is often at its best in an underdog role. His club will arrive at Anfield with just such a moniker.
