The Wingers
As I hinted at earlier, Son Heung-Min is going to start this match one way or the other. I just happen to believe he’s going to begin his afternoon on the wing.
It will be interesting to see if the Korean attacker can bounce back after a below-average Champions League outing. He looked bothered by playing against his former club and didn’t really influence the match. He’ll need to be better at Bournemouth for Tottenham to get the three points they need.
On the other wing, I would look for Moussa Sissoko to get another start. He was impressive off the bench against Leverkusen and Pochettino will want to reward that with additional playing time.
There is the possibility that Pochettino could opt for fellow countryman Erik Lamela in this spot, but I think he’ll remain on the bench. Sissoko will have a great opportunity to impress his manager if he can play an energetic 90 minutes against the Cherries.
